We are expanding the Technical Development team

Create the cars of the future with us

Embrace the opportunity to influence the development of future generations of ŠKODA AUTO vehicles! Work in the Czech Republic´s only automotive development centre, using state-of-the-art equipment and cooperating with a team of professionals.

Work where dreams come true! Virtual reality will help you design cars of the future. Join one of our teams and give life to new models!

Take a project and become completely responsible for it, from A to Z. Your role will be to coordinate technological and development solutions and cooperate on them with other departments in both the Czech Republic and abroad.

Take part in the car pre-development process: become responsible for drawings & calculations or join the development team to test prototypes, fit prototype components and attend a variety of meetings.

Cars are more than just a set of wheels and a steering wheel. Modern cars feature an intricate network of electrical connections. The responsibility for whether and how vehicles respond to their users lies with our electrical engineers. Join a team of architects responsible for designing cars´ nervous systems!

Join us to test various properties of materials in use, including their lifespan, mobility, strength, etc. Become part of one of the key areas indispensable for Pre-Development, Crash Tests and Mechanical Design Departments.

Do you prefer hands-on work to sitting in an office? Join our team of test technicians to become responsible e.g. for road tests and prototype design jobs. If you are fascinated by cars, we are looking for you!

Working on models of the future, fine-tuning proportions and shapes, looking for suitable materials for the interior and creating the perfect harmony between design and functionality. All that with the ambition to make cars that are inspiring at first sight while boasting a long-lasting aesthetic value.

With any real car, the first steps are made at the pre-development stage. Sketches, initial designs, aerodynamics … all these need to be done before the car gets to the production line, and the responsibility lies with the Pre-Development Department.

Every new model has to meet stringent requirements in terms of quality, design and functionality and, towards this end, is subject to a large number of calculations and tests. The responsibility for whether a new car becomes roadworthy and completely functional lies with the Development Department.

Test and prototypes

Before reaching the series production stage, every new model does over two million kilometres and undergoes thousands of test hours in labs. And more than that: every new model is exposed to extreme conditions in a climatic chamber, as well as in various parts of the world.

Discounted purchase of a ŠKODA car or its lease Average annual bonus over 110,000 CZK Professional and language courses and certifications Company accommodation and a no-interest home loan Pension savings, health benefits, 5 weeks of vacation
