Coffee and sandwich for iV Qoin. ŠKODA AUTO invests in blockchain technology – Watch out, april fool´s day!

ŠKODA AUTO plans to introduce its own digital currency called iV Qoin. Its SimplyCrypto development team is now designing a solution for blockchain technology, and the company's management expects to mine the most of the cryptocurrency. The reasons for the planned investments are savings, protection against inflation, but also brand strengthening.

“We plan to build a new data centre where we will mine the new currency ecologically. Our new data centre will be powered by renewable energy, “ it will simply be a new generation of cryptocurrency,” comments Elizabeth Builty, who is on the project in the role of Queen Qoin. The construction of the data centre will soon begin on the newly purchased land in Qasiny.

All employees of the carmaker will have access to the new, innovative cryptocurrency. The company plans to open a so-called Dining Room of the Future where paying with Qoins will be the only possibility, “We were inspired by the Prague café Digipolis. Everyone will be able to download a special card via the LostWallet application, then in the Dining Room of the Future, employees will have access to iVomat, through which they will obtain the cryptocurrency, so that they can happily enjoy their coffee or have a good lunch,” explains Joseph Tray who is designing the dining room.
