Every ŠKODA employee probably watched the new FABIA premiere with high expectation. We had the chance to interview the person who takes care of the whole project. Petr Novosad is a project manager and former trainee – in our interview he thought back to the Trainee program that he experienced 15 years ago and he also described the details of his current job.
She studied at the University of Economics, but for a long time did not know where she would once want to work. Then she tried the ŠKODA AUTO Trainee program and landed in HR. Today, Alžběta Budinská leads the entire program and helps university graduates find their dream job, despite the Coronavirus pandemic.
He started right after school as a trainee, now he leads a team of fifty people who deal with the electronics of all ŠKODA models in the Czech Republic and abroad. As Tomáš Dlabaja says, the automotive industry is now going through a brutal revolution. But if you google his name, you will find more than just his career profile.
All the regular activities that make the Trainee Programme so special have been cancelled or, in better cases, moved online due to coronavirus. Unfortunately, the same also applies to volunteering. However, at the end of December 2020, we got the opportunity to help at the animal shelter Dogsy and spend some time working in the fresh air. Without hesitation, we quickly put together a group of volunteers and headed to Jestřebí, a village near Doksy.
Meet Aida Merušić – one of the current Trainees at ŠKODA AUTO’s Trainee Programme. Aida comes from Fojnica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Financial Management at School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo. The following interview discusses Aida’s Trainee Programme experience so far.
Trainees in Mladá Boleslav are definitely not bored. The Networking team takes care of trainees’ wellbeing, among which, has the exclusive task of connecting new and former members of the Trainee program, thus creating a common Trainee community. The second year of the Trainee Reunion took place on August 27, 2020, which was held again in the spirit of a Sport Day!
ŠKODA AUTO and Czechitas became partners in 2019. Together they opened a new branch office in Mladá Boleslav and Liberec. There are eleven IT workshops for adults and one for kids planned in Mladá Boleslav and Liberec for this year.
