The new production and logistics strategy - peak
The peak strategy represents the next step in the evolution of production and logistics at Škoda Auto. It aims to prepare the company for future challenges, especially the transition to the second generation of electric platforms and intensifying global competition.
The word peak is an acronym for Production, Effectiveness, Achievement, and Key Results.
This philosophy spans all areas of production — from development and planning to assembly and logistics. The goal of the peak strategy is to simplify production, increase automation, and ensure greater modularity to build sustainable plants that deliver top business results.
On the assembly line, all components come together, the vehicle is carefully checked and prepared for delivery to customers all over the world. Every day, up to 3,800 finished vehicles leave our Czech plants, heading to all corners of the world.
Ecology and sustainability – we reduce energy consumption, use renewable resources and continuously innovate production and logistics processes to ensure long-term environmental responsibility.
Start your career as a Tech Trainee in production and logistics
The Škoda Tech Trainee program in production and logistics is an ideal choice for graduates of technical fields who want to connect theory with practice. You can look forward to rotations across departments as well as a three-month internship abroad. You’ll get a mentor who will guide you through the company and the program.
You can also try so-called shadowing and accompany a high-level manager. You’ll become part of an international community of trainees and can gain experience abroad with our Group colleagues. The bonus? Expert training that you’ll find only in this program!
