As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist, with primary focus on Microsoft Azure platform, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of an organization's digital assets. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and manage robust identity and access management solutions to safeguard sensitive information, systems, and resources. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain IAM policies and technologies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal security standards.

 

What is your role about?

  • Develop and implement an IAM strategy aligned with organizational goals and security policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement processes for onboarding, offboarding, and managing user identities throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of user identity data and permissions.
  • Define and enforce access control policies based on the principle of least privilege.
  • Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) systems to streamline user permissions.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
  • Manage authorization mechanisms and enforce proper authentication protocols.
  • Implement and support single sign-on solutions to enhance user experience and security.
  • Integrate SSO with various enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Regularly audit access logs and conduct compliance assessments.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to demonstrate adherence to security standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and resolve security incidents related to identity and access management.
  • Provide timely support for access-related issues and escalations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure, applications, and cloud services.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to IAM.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM processes, procedures, and configurations.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate users and IT staff on IAM best practices.

What are our requirements?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • English - level B2 (intermediate level)
  • German is an advantage
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of identity management protocols, standards, and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security.
