What will you be doing with us?
- Ensuring the purchase of rare metals within the subcontracting chain, including securing capacity, negotiating price offers, and optimizing costs.
- Collaborating with brands and regions in the areas of purchasing, development, quality, and Baureihe.
- Ensuring activities related to the purchase of rare metals from processors to suppliers of finished parts, including their selection, process optimization, analysis, and coordination of material flows leading to increased efficiency and flexibility with the aim of achieving the best economic outcome and necessary capacities for the VW group.
- Negotiating prices within the subcontracting chain, ensuring qualitative and quantitative requirements for input materials.
- Conducting cost analyses (TCO) and comparisons to derive and present recommendations regarding the scope of K-RSK.
- Optimizing costs and updating the material database.
- Developing recycling strategies and organizing Supplier Tech-Days.
- Monitoring value chains of raw materials and market trends.v
What must you know, have, and be able to do?
- University degree (economics, business, management)
- English - level B2 (active advanced knowledge)
- Ability to prepare and present materials in English.
- Ability to conduct business negotiations in English.
- Proven experience with selecting and evaluating suppliers.
- Ability to negotiate price offers and cooperation terms.
- Ability to analyze the market and evaluate the situation of suppliers long-term, both domestically and abroad.
- Experience with organizing tender processes.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Driver's license, category B.
