What will your job look like?


Painter

The position involves spraying, repairing, and fine grinding of the bodywork and other visible parts. It takes place in a modern, clean environment.

Body Repair Technician

The main tasks include common bodywork, body fitting, adjustments and repairs, or special assembly of car parts. The technician also replaces panel parts and handles car bodies using trolleys.

Assembly Worker

Most of the work takes place at the assembly line with some preparations outside the line. In this position, you would be assembling smaller parts, carrying out more complex assemblies with handling equipment, and ensuring proper functionality of installed parts.

Mechatronics Technician

The work includes repairs, inspections, and maintenance of electrical equipment. Mechatronics technicians ensure smooth operation of electronic assembly line systems. They perform preventive maintenance and diagnoses and eliminate any defects. They may also make adjustments in control systems software.

    Do those who are currently employed with a two-month notice period also have a chance of getting accepted? Or do you prefer candidates who can start immediately?

    Yes, those who are currently employed and thinking about changing jobs certainly have a chance too. Our recruitment team communicates with candidates for up to three months before their planned start. By default, we expect you to have a two-month notice period.

    What will be the scope of my work?

    Do you offer commuter benefits for those who need to commute more than 50 km every day?

    Unfortunately, we do not, but you have the opportunity to use connections arranged from all travel locations.

    What do hostels look like? Are they far? How many people live in one room?

    We currently offer accommodation in several places in Mladá Boleslav. Usually, the employees stay in rooms with two separate beds. The price for accommodation is around CZK 1,800 per month and is deducted from the employee's salary.

    Can I come to the recruitment centre during the notified working hours or do I need to register in advance?

    You can come to the recruitment centre at any time during working hours, even without prior notice. You will find us in the Škoda Administration Centre every working day 8:00-16:00.

    What kind of contract do you offer? Permanent contract?

    We always offer employees a fixed-term contract for half a year with a three-month probation period.

    How long are the working hours? Do employees work at weekends as well?

    The work is organised on a three-shift basis.

    One shift consists of 7.5 hours of work and half an hour for a lunch break.

    Morning shift 6:00-14:00

    Afternoon shift 14:00-22:00

    Night shift 22:00-6:00

    Is career growth possible, even in blue-collar positions, for hard-working individuals?

    Certainly. After half a year of employment, you can register for the Škoda Auto internal job exchange and choose from the available positions. As another option, skilled employees can be nominated for a suitable position by their managers. We also offer our employees courses and training that increase their qualifications and expertise.
