In this role, you support and guide the software preparation, flashing and validation of control units for next‑generation MEB+ battery systems. You ensure that software versions are tested, correctly flashed, and ready for series production, working closely with Škoda teams, VW Group partners and suppliers.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Flash and validate software for battery‑related ECUs using VW tools (ODIS)
- Prepare, test and document software for MEB+ battery controllers
- Support ECU software from early prototype phases through series production
- Collaborate with VW Group engineering teams on software releases and flash data
- Analyze flashing issues and ensure correct HW/SW compatibility
- Participate in international meetings, supplier visits and test activities
What skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- You are knowledgeable in battery systems, high‑voltage safety, thermal management, and battery hardware design
- You have hands‑on experience flashing ECUs with ODIS‑Service and understand VW's official flashing workflow
- You communicate clearly, work independently, and are open to international collaboration and supplier interaction
- Fluent Czech language
- Fluent German or English language for daily communication with colleagues and suppliers from abroad. Even some of our internal meetings are led in AJ/NJ
- A minimum of: 3–5 years of professional experience
- Enthusiasm for the automotive area as well as for new technological solutions
