Technical Development
From the first sketch to the final tests. That’s how we would summarize the work of technical development, which plays a crucial role in the creation of every new Škoda Auto model.
At the heart of the department are teams of passionate professionals dedicated to each phase of vehicle development. Whether it’s the initial brief, planning, design, concept development, or the final crash tests and various trials, we always use the most advanced methods and technologies.
Engineering
This department is responsible for ensuring the smooth production of every vehicle. It all starts with the logistics of materials, parts, and components and ends with their assembly. But that’s not all. We design and implement new technologies to bring vehicle electronics to life, transfer insights from extensive analyses into car assembly, or even into a new paint shop. We pride ourselves on using the best technologies and continuously create new positions that cover a wide range of opportunities across various fields.

Daniel Jablonský has spent virtually his entire professional life at the intersection of finance and IT. While he focused on economics in secondary school, he directed his university studies toward IT. Today, he combines both areas of expertise as an IT Delivery Manager for Finance and is responsible for the group-wide Group ONE! Finance project at Škoda Auto, which aims to harmonize financial data across brands. What does his typical day look like? “I’ve been jumping from one meeting to another a lot lately.” he begins.
